You Are So Loved Little One
Newborn sessions are done between 7-12 days after birth for the best results. This is the time when babies are most sleepy and flexible and can pose perfectly. We have all the equipment and props to keep your baby safe, calm, and happy. We will book a tentative date based on your due date and we can adjust if your baby arrives early or late. Please make sure to book a date before your baby is born, to make sure you get a spot.
Family and sibling photos are included in all the newborn sessions. We always talk to families prior to the session and let them pick their favorite colors and props.
Studio Newborn Session
During this 2-3 hour session, parents can relax and enjoy their little baby be a superstar in front of my camera. Our studio is located in South Granville, Vancouver, BC. We have all the equipment and props to keep your baby safe, calm, and happy.
This is the most precious photo shoot anyone can be a part of and we will make sure you have a lovely experience alongside memorable photos to cherish forever. My style is soft and timeless and I use a lot of whites and monochrome colors. We have a great selection of backgrounds, soft wraps, and handmade blankets and props to choose from. We have a set of poses for babies and parents that we go through in each session. But every baby is not the same and no pose will be forced. If you have a specific image or prop in mind please let us know at the time of booking.
In-Home Lifestyle Newborn Session
This session will be done from the comfort of your own home! Yes! You stay where you are and we come to you! This is the perfect newborn session option for families who might find it difficult to leave their home in the first couple of weeks after delivery. This session can be done any time between 7-25 days after birth.
The lifestyle newborn session is very laid back and fun. Instead of posing baby and using props, we will photograph your baby in the familiar atmosphere of your home. Using natural light and windows, we can take pictures in your nursery, bedroom, or living room. This is a great way to tell your family's story and capture some beautiful memories of your baby's first weeks in your home.
