Newborn Session During Covid-19

Hi everyone! It’s time to tell you the most exciting newborn story during my 4 years of newborn photography!

It all started with the maternity session we had planned for this beautiful family. We had a location, different dresses and a perfect look put together. We had to postpone the session by 2 days because the weather wasn’t cooperating. But this little girl had different plans.

We get to our location for the maternity session. I’m waiting for mom to change into the gown that I brought for her. And when she took way longer than expected I started to worry. Long story short, mommy’s water broke as soon as she put the dress on and we had to stop the maternity shoot before we even started. She was only 34 weeks pregnant so no one was expecting this to happen, but little bubba couldn’t wait anymore! I knew how important the session was for the family, so we discussed it and decided to do a super mini mini session for 5 minutes just so they have the memories and then they headed to the hospital! Wow what an experience!

Even though we were all a bit stressed, in the end everyone was glad we took those shots and the photos turned out amazing. We didn’t get the full session and the outfit changes that we wanted but we got to capture some beautiful memories.
